A piece of plastic strip pulled out while eating. When asked for a discount, because you didn't want to eat anymore, only a sorry came from the host. Impossible!!!

The ambience and mood are more reminiscent of a sports home. The food tastes like ready-made sauce and the suckling pig was not really tender. You get reasonably full. Our dog was welcome without any problems.

We have never eaten so bad! It was good that it was dark and we could hardly see the food. The tetrapack sauce was underground. Expansive ambience in the (so-called) winter garden.

Popped in for a beer. Unfortunately no drinks menu received. No wheat on tap, although we thought there was a brewery connection here??‍♀️ There was still cold beer, which we enjoyed in the green courtyard with a shady spot. I ordered a large one and received a 0.4l. Okay, I'm a little woman too?. We spontaneously chose the house and could get a place around 2pm.

Very friendly fast service. The food but under all cannon. Broccoli cheese medallion with vegetable croquette: Visually beautiful but tasted like it was out of the freezer. Not worth 5 euros. Roast suckling pig with dumplings and red cabbage: the meat was dry and didn't taste good at all. The potato dumplings weren't done, the sauce didn't taste like anything and the red cabbage was a mush. Sorry never again.

We were here as tourists on our vacation Service bad ... unfriendly, uncommunicative ... the food didn't even deserve a star. You get what you pay for: Fast food style German food out of the microwave. 2 days later I got the same food outside of Rothenburg for 5€ plus in perfect quality. This restaurant is the typical tourist trap.

Nice, quiet beer garden behind the house. Friendly service and reasonable prices for a tourist destination. The food - suckling pig and schnitzel - was not a highlight, but solid fare and tasty. Overall, definitely to be recommended.

We were visiting the city because there aren't that many tourists. We were served and received that way. But the iced coffee was under all cannon. That's why....

We used to like to go to the swan when we were in Rothenburg. Unfortunately the food has now deteriorated dramatically. Everything tastes like finished goods and the staff is unfriendly on the phone and on site. We were told on the phone 30 minutes before our visit that everything was full and when we were there we saw only a few tables occupied. We had champion schnitzel that tasted of poor transgourmet quality at best. Unfortunately far from what it used to be.

Just terrible! I find it difficult to remember the last time I / we were received and treated in such an unfriendly manner. So we left the restaurant within 5 minutes and informed the waiter accordingly. But that didn't really interest him. Rather, he stayed in his tone towards us, still in a rather cheeky and impudent manner! As already said; "Just terrible!"

Particularly nice and welcoming place. The staff is helpful and there is also a native Italian-speaking waiter on site, very helpful and attentive to customers. The food was fresh and inviting. I ordered a Goulash soup it's a Cola-like drink with orange (mezzoMix). I was also brought a salad as an appetizer to anticipate the dish. The price was super fair! I definitely recommend it

Food and drink came quickly. New drinks were also there quickly. Food didn't taste good. Gypsy schnitzel was indefinable. French fries tasted like old fat.

The service was ok The food was unfortunately nothing special for the prices. Little beer selection for a Bavarian pub and you are treated like in a beer tent. Order, eat, pay and then leave. We were very disappointed.

Normally should be good, but i had no luck, there was disgusting hair on my dish inde the meat.

Food Has nothing special, same you can buy at supermarket. Service is good, but the toilet was dirty in a day that the house was empty. The price is high and don’t fit the quality. You can eat much better paying the same. Sad experience. And the homemade beer is not worthy also! ?

Very good Franconian fare at moderate prices. Good draft local/home-made beer. The Haxe was great, Knoedel also tasty. Rahmschnitzel was good. Be prepared to share your table!

Food was amazing, drinks were great, staff was friendly, and the owner is a great funny guy!

I don’t recommend it. Ordered croquet and mushroom in a bread bowl. Croquets weren’t edible, tasted like bad frozen food. The mushrooms tasted ok, but the bread bowl was hard to eat, like old bread, and the carrots in the mix were also frozen, could tell based on taste and texture.

Every time I visit Rothenburg, I make sure I stop here, for dinner, before I leave. The food is amazing. The beer is amazing. The employees are amazing. The atmosphere, is cozy.

The food was delicious and the service was amazing!! Carol was very attentive and good at bringing people together. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and she made sure to bring us an extra celebratory drink. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience!

Perfect location for a quick refresher while wandering Rothenburg. The service was friendly, the beer was cold and the Spargle soup was amazing!
